Chair Yoga – Monday 4:30 pm – 5:15 pm

This class will use a folding chair, in seated position on the folding chair.  Standing poses may be incorporated into class, using the chair for balance. This class is ideal for those who can’t easily get up and down on the floor, while making common yoga postures more accessible. Breathing techniques and meditation will be incorporated into the class. This class can help increase flexibility and balance, improve mood, and lessen anxiety.  This class is suitable for all levels.

Chairs are provided.  Please bring a yoga mat to place under your chair for grip.

Gentle Yoga – Monday 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

This class will include meditation, breath work, and poses that include slow flowing poses with some poses held longer. The focus will be on increasing flexibility, mobility and physical balance, while also providing relaxation. This class will include a variety of seated, standing and reclining postures.  While modifications are always available, being able to get up and down from the floor multiple times within an hour with relative ease, is necessary.  This class is suitable for all levels.

Please bring a yoga mat. There will be limited blocks available as props.  If you have yoga props you would like to use, you are welcome to bring them.
